National Alps Azumino Park is a national park stretching at the foot of the Northern Alps. The vast site straddles Azumino City, Omachi City, and Matsukawa Village. The park is roughly divided into the Horikane/Hotaka area and the Omachi/Matukawa area, which are not adjacent to each other.

The Horikane-Hotaka area has two zones: the Rural Culture Zone and the Satoyama Culture Zone. In the Rural Culture Zone, visitors can enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Alpine landscape. The Satoyama Culture Zone recreates the nostalgic satoyama landscape of Azumino, allowing visitors to experience the nature and culture of the region in a short time.

Horigane/Hotaka area
