Miniland is one of the areas within LEGOLAND Japan, where cities and famous landmarks from all over Japan are recreated with over ten million LEGO bricks. It's enjoyable to stroll around and view the expansive dioramas, but some of them can also be animated by pressing buttons. This article will introduce the highlights of Miniland at LEGOLAND Japan.

Entrance to MINILAND
The Miniland area is located near the center of Legoland Japan and can be accessed from several other areas.
Additionally, if you take a ride on the Observation Tower and look down at MINILAND from above, you'll see that it is laid out in the following way: Instead of dioramas being scattered randomly, they are created in clusters representing different cities and landmarks, each incorporating multiple natural landscapes and buildings within the dioramas.
Miyajima/Itsukushima Shrine
Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine area. First is Itsukushima Shrine.

Cityscape of Sapporo City and Hokkaido
This is the cityscape of Sapporo city. It includes the Sapporo Okurayama Observation Deck, where the Olympic jumping competition was held, Sapporo Station, and the Sapporo City Clock Tower.
Sapporo TV Tower. The height is 147m. This is also a scene from the Sapporo Snow Festival, which is held every winter at Odori Park in Sapporo.

About the blue button inside Miniland
In Miniland, there are blue buttons installed at various locations.
Pressing these buttons can animate the LEGO brick dioramas or play music. For example, pressing the button below causes a helicopter to fly into the sky.
The action that occurs when you press a button varies with each diorama, so if you come across a button, please do try pressing it to see what happens.
