SEA LIFE Nagoya is an aquarium facility located within the LEGOLAND Japan Resort. It shares the same building with the LEGOLAND Japan Hotel. In addition to viewing various fish and aquatic creatures, there is an area where you can touch starfish while listening to keeper talks, and you can also create your own original creature by coloring your favorite animals on a screen. What is SEA LIFE Nagoya?
SEA LIFE Nagoya is not a very large facility, so you can take your time and still see everything in about 30 minutes to an hour. While it is in the same building as the LEGOLAND Japan Hotel, there is a separate entrance for SEA LIFE Nagoya distinct from the hotel entrance. Please note that while it is adjacent to LEGOLAND Japan, it is located outside the LEGOLAND Japan grounds.
To enter SEA LIFE Nagoya, you must either purchase a ticket that allows enjoyment of both LEGOLAND Japan and the aquarium or pay a separate entrance fee.
Fish Ring
When you enter Sea Life Nagoya and walk a little further, the first thing you will see is the Fish Ring. You can see the fish swimming in the 360 degree circular tank.
Kisogawa area
In the Kisogawa area, you can see goldfish and local fish from Aichi prefecture.
Rock pool area
In the rock pool area, you can observe and touch starfish. Please touch starfish gently while listening to the zookeeper's story. Don't forget to wash your hands before touching it.
Port area
You can see sea life in the harbor area.
Seahorse's home
At the seahorse's home, you can observe seahorses swimming gently through the mangroves.
Coral reef sea area
In the coral reef area, you can see colorful fish living in the coral.
There is also a simulator where you can become a coral doctor and learn what you can do to protect coral reefs.
Stingray bay
You can see many different types of rays at Stingray Bay. Shows used to be held here, but they are currently closed.
Sea of jellyfish
In the jellyfish sea, you can see jellyfish swimming and swaying.
Sunken ship area
In the sunken ship area, you can experience what it's like to dive into the sea and peer into a sunken ship.
Ryugujo area
In the Ryugujo area, you can see many fish while walking through a tunnel in the sea.
Amazing creation
In Amazing Creation, you can choose your favorite fish from the names displayed on the screen and color it freely. The completed original fish can be made to swim in the sea projected on a large screen.
Amazing Creation is the last area of Sea Life Nagoya. As you exit the gate, there is a Sea Life Nagoya souvenir shop.
